You can use them in a diffuser or apply them directly to the skin. Indeed, a few drops are enough to prevent mosquitoes from biting you. Outside, you can pour three drops of Java citronella directly on your clothes to scare them away. The protection lasts between 2 and 4 hours, but after that you will have to repeat the operation. In addition, the essential oil of lemon eucalyptus, geranium Bourbon are also effective. For the geranium Bourbon, it also allows to calm the bites, in other words an essential oil two in one. Other natural anti-mosquito remedies

Mosquitoes hate the smell of cloves. That’s why you simply cut a lime in half and prick about 15 cloves on each side. Then, you will place the lemon halves on cups that you will arrange in the bedroom or elsewhere in the house. To keep mosquitoes away naturally, you can also place a glass of vinegar near your windows. The smell will discourage insects from entering the house.

Use a screen or a fan

To keep mosquitoes away naturally, you can also invest in a mosquito net or use a fan. Both methods are indeed radical to spend quiet nights without resorting to chemical insecticides. Another solution is to plant geraniums or basil in front of your windows. This way, mosquitoes will flee the odors of these two plants which are at the same time very decorative. You can also use your vacuum cleaner to easily get rid of mosquitoes that have settled on the walls of your home or hidden under the beds.
